Movement is life and I love to move, I am a movement artist.
I love to practice and teach pole dance because I believe that it helps you to develop your body, your mental and spiritual strength integrally. I firmly believe that through pole dance we can change lives. The first and most importantly, our own.
I am EXOTICAT! a rare mix of Peruvian sangres.

Cricket/Jess (she/her)
Cricket has a passion for creating characters and bringing them to life through pole. She firmly believes that pole can be anything you want it to be from sexy and dramatic to silly and comedic and everything in between. She has performed pole embodying such characters as a demented clown, Tweedle Dum, a wannabe ghostbuster, Elvis, MC Hammer, and even good ol’ Santa Claus. Cricket is a bit obsessed with doubles pole too, not only because she is a raging extrovert, but also because sharing the stage with a friend, after putting in loads of hard work together, is truly an unforgettable experience.

Jayne (she/her)
Jayne began dancing at age three, falling in love with ballet's storytelling and expressive potential. After pursuing higher education and a career, she sought a creative outlet and discovered pole dancing by chance. It offered the same artistry and physical challenge as ballet, allowing her to connect with her body and express herself in a three-dimensional space. She now teaches pole dance, passionate about guiding others to find their own voice through movement.

Shay R (they/she)
A seasoned creature of the stage, but new to the magic of the pole strap, this satyr is here to stir your senses and spark your curiosity. Half-human, half-goat, fully mischievous—don’t be shy. They don’t bite… unless you ask nicely.

Matt (he/him)
Matt’s pole journey started with a search for a sport that would bridge the gap between fitness and fun. He took his first class on a whim and fell in love. With no dance, gymnastics, or really any kind of sports background he found pole to be both creatively and physically challenging, but rewarding! He is thankful to be able to share his love of pole with students across level and style focuses.

Shay B (she/her)
Growing up in Portland, Shay explored sports and dance before discovering her passion for aerial arts in 2020 after trying a pole class. She began performing in clubs in 2021, honing her skills and later adding Lyra. Now working in Portland and Miami, Shay blends club energy with studio technique in her teaching. When not practicing Lyra or pole, she's a fashion student and a devoted pet parent.

Kate (she/her)
Kate has been a lifelong dancer with a childhood and adolescence of ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and more. However, she had never felt empowered in movement until she started pole dancing. When she started pole in 2017, Kate immediately fell in love with the freedom that pole gave her to explore her own style of movement, and the new form of self love that pole provides.

Crystal
Crystal, a Colorado native, studied dance as a child and continued in the performing arts as she grew up. In 2012, feeling enervated by her day job she longed and searched for something new to give her life. She went on a blind date with pole dance expecting to like it, but not expecting the healthy long-term committed relationship it became. She moved to Las Vegas in 2016 because she knew what she had with pole must be love and needed to pursue it further. She performed, trained and taught there for the next 3 years before returning to the place her and pole had their first date, Portland. Her most recent and most epic pole accomplishment was performing with her love, pole, and the iconic JLo in the Super Bowl LIV halftime show.

Christie (she/her)
Christie is a life long dancer and spent most of her childhood and adolescence training in ballet. She is grateful for the foundation that ballet gave her but longed to find a dance practice that encouraged innovation and free expression. Fortunately in 2012 she found pole dancing and never looked back! She continues to feel liberated by pole everyday. In addition to dance, she is a professional photographer, an urban farmer, and an animal lover.

Anne (she/her)
Growing up in northern Michigan, Anne dabbled in various activities like baton twirling, swimming, and shot put, with powerlifting in college. A desk job led to a less active lifestyle until 2017, when she discovered a passion for pole dance. Anne embraces fluid, contemporary, and sensual movement, emphasizing the "dance" in pole. She's dedicated to making pole accessible for all body types and enjoys sharing her love for it. Outside the studio, Anne juggles raising three children and running her tech consulting agency, established in 2020.

Dria (she/her)
Alexandria is a Portland local and 3rd generation Oregonian with a passion for the performing arts since childhood. Alex has been pole dancing since she was nineteen years old. Performing award winning, international burlesque since 2010, she is very excited to bring her style of contemporary showgirl meets pole to Aero Space! When she isn’t practicing yoga and teaching dance, she is a busy mama. She's also an avid collector of books about ancient history and esoteric magic.

Rachelle McNamer (she/her)
Rachelle discovered the joy of pole dancing in 2013, embracing its expressive freedom and tight-knit community. Despite lacking formal dance training, she found pole dance a way to challenge her body and tap into a softer side. She is grateful for the opportunity to pursue this passion professionally, acknowledging her husband Anthony, partner Ashley, and instructors for their support. Outside of pole dancing and her AERO work, Rachelle balances a busy life as a loving mom, fun wife, and dedicated friend.

Clarity (she/her)
A life-long lover of music and dance, Clarity discovered the art of pole dance ten years ago and never looked back! She believes wholeheartedly in the healing and transformative powers of dance and movement. Clarity is thrilled to take the stage with the rest of her trio and honored to share a stage with so many incredible performers for Polequest 2025.

Gemma (she/her)
Gemma has spent the last 16 years performing in the Portland area, weaving athleticism and artistry into every movement. As a pole dance instructor with over a decade of teaching experience, she is dedicated to creating spaces where strength, expression, and self-confidence are celebrated. Her work bridges the worlds of performance and education, inspiring both audiences and students alike.

Wendy (she/her)
Wendy was hooked from her very first pole dance class. After all these years the passion has only grown and now she can’t imagine life without it.

Mircat DragonFae
Mircat DragonFae is a tiny magical MerFaerie and Queen Dragoness reigning from the coast of SE Alaska. She has been a movement and visual artist since she was a just a wee lass.
Throughout her childhood she studied bellydance, gymnastics, expressive dance and cheerleading. She later became an aerialist, pole dancer and fire dancer in her adult years. Her journey in pole dancing began over 12 years ago, but she really became passionate about pole in the last 4 years.
