Johnny Nuriel is an internationally acclaimed, powerfully androgynous, and versatile performer known for his signature fusion of fire and burlesque. Johnny is a beautiful blend of Masculinity and Femininity and draws from the powers of both in creating his esthetic. He, along with his husband, Isaiah Esquire, produce the hit Portland spectacular, Boyeurism which takes place here at the Alberta Rose Theatre.

Originally from Malaysia, Spinny Jess has been passionate about pole for four years and teaching for the past two. Her dance style is best described as spinny, expressive, and lyrical. Inspired by the magic of Disney, she’s thrilled to bring one of her favorite childhood movies to life on stage.

William - Golden (K Pop Demon Hunters)
William began his pole journey in 2021 despite being worried about what others might think and not believing he could be a dancer. This song is a reminder that even on the darkest days there is always a light inside us and things will get better if we embrace it.
Mari - Feed My Frankenstein (Wayne’s World)
Mari has been pole dancing since 2019 with a group of friends learning off of YouTube. After moving to Portland, Aero space gave her an opportunity for more formal instruction and helped her find a new pole community. Those of you familiar with her past performances may note that this is her second Frankenstein routine in a row. She promises this one will be different and vows to lay off the topic for a while after tonight.
Wendy - Talk Show Host (Romeo & Juliet)
Wendy was hooked from her very first pole dance class. After all these years the passion has only grown and now she can’t imagine life without it. Wendy will be celebrating the 1996 phenomenon that was Romeo and Juliet starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. She will be dancing to Talk Show Host by Radiohead.
Ashley, Rachelle, Hanna Harlow, & Dria Dore - Coconut (Practical Magic)
This piece is all about the power of female friendships, the magic found in dancing together, and the love towards a good midnight margarita.
Isaiah Esquire - Chocolate Drop (Willy Wonka)
A seasoned dancer/instructor/choreographer/creative director and internationally acclaimed entertainer, ISAIAH has over 13 years of professional experience. From studios to classrooms, universities to international festivals, ISAIAH instructs classes ranging from Hip-Hop to Jazz, African to Ballroom, Twerking to Heel-o-graphy, and more. You can catch ISAIAH and his partner, JOHNNY NURIEL, on stage and in life, headlining as their duo IZOHNNY every first Thursday for the mostly male spectacular: BOYeurism @ the Star Theater, a show created and produced by Isaiah himself.
Kate - Siren (Siren 2016)
Kate has been a lifelong dancer with a childhood and adolescence of ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and more. However, she had never felt empowered in movement until she started pole dancing. When she started pole in 2017, Kate immediately fell in love with the freedom that pole gave her to explore her own style of movement, and the new form of self love that pole provides. She recently performed this piece at PSO and took home 1st place!
Miss Motor Cyclone - Entertainer
As a lover of theater, burlesque, and cosplay, Miss Motor Cyclone loves to embody characters in her pole performances. She finds the most satisfaction in playing the silly and absurd, and today she is excited to journey back to the early days of American cinema to pay homage to one of the great comedians of the silent film era, Charlie Chaplain and his legendary cinema character, The Tramp.
Mary, Mia & Melissa- Express (Burlesque 2010)
Mary, Mia, and Melissa came together from backgrounds in aerial circus, pole, and chair dance to transport you to the Burlesque Lounge, where they’re debuting their first performance together! A very special thank you to Chalese, chair extraordinaire, for choreographing this piece!

Christie is a life long dancer and spent most of her childhood and adolescence training in ballet. She is grateful for the foundation that ballet gave her but longed to find a dance practice that encouraged innovation and free expression. Fortunately in 2012 she found pole dancing and never looked back!
She continues to feel liberated by pole everyday.
NVi
NVi started competitive dancing at 4 years old, and then her love for ballet led her to become a student at the Oregon Ballet Theatre. She has since danced professionally with their company, as well as the Agnieszka Laska Dancers, The Portland Opera, Body Cinema in Paris, France, and others. NVi started her pole journey at 27 and had been obsessed with it ever since. She loves the strength it requires, the freedom of expression it provides, and the strong community of women and men that are intertwined with it. This is a piece she’s always wanted to create, and is excited it’s coming to life!
